NEW UPGRADE FOR PLANT ANALYSIS SOFTWARES

This latest upgrade adds yet more analysis and measurement features, and eliminates the need for the bulky image capture card for live video images by allowing direct connection of USB cameras. Photographs taken with any digital or phone camera can still be imported and analysed as before but you must remember to include a ruler in the photograph to set the calibration scale for the analysis. Obviously, the higher quality the photograph or image used, the more accurate the analysis will be.

Demo versions of both softwares are available for assessment before purchase, please ask for a copy.

SKYE’S LONG LIFE INSTRUMENTS!

Skye have always had a reputation for long lasting, robust equipment. But some recent instruments sent back for recalibration, have outgrown even our expectations!
We recently received a Light meter and sensor back for recalibration, that was still in good working condition, and was older than the Skye member of staff testing it!
We have also received one of our original dataloggers "DataHog1"built in 1993, returned for recalibration, but still working well!
And one of the first Plant Moisture Systems we manufactured in 1990, has also been sent back to us for basic maintenance before returning to the owners for further plant research.
In the past we have had a datalogger returned for repair after being in a forest fire, it was still logging and fully functional, despite its charred appearance! It simply needed a new housing. The moral of the story - Skye equipment is really built to last!

LIGHT
CALIBRATION

To maintain accurate data from your light sensors, Skye recommends that light sensors are recalibrated every 2 years. Contact Ria at Skye and book your calibration slot!
